Career and Life Planning | NLSI Lui Kwok Pat Fong College

Aims

To promote whole-person development to enable students self-understanding and self-appreciation;
To equip students with the knowledge of various study, career and training pathways, work ethics and the working world;
To inspire students to make wise choices through career and life planning education and connecting with school’s curriculum components.

Regular Work

Fostering students’ self-understanding on their strengths, weaknesses and personalities via life planning education lessons and different careers workshops, such as Self-understanding Workshops and Life Planning Day Camps;
equipping students with essential interpersonal skills and abilities for future development via practical workshops like Mock Interview Workshop and SLP Writing Workshop;
providing students a wide variety of information about further studies via various careers talks such as JUPAS Talk, Higher Education in mainland;
facilitating students in gaining a wider perspective of the future world via workplace visits and various careers exploration programmes, for instance, Career Live, overseas study tours, and etc;
extending students’ learning experiences in various occasions and help them acquire knowledge in a tertiary level before they get into the universities via different gifted and talented programmes offered by the local institutions.
